preface

On the cover you see a galaxy. Not ours, that's not possible. We are in the solar system with our earth and this solar system is in a galaxy called the galaxy. We can only photograph it from the side.

The diameter of the entire galaxy is 100,000 light years. In other words. If you could fly at the speed of light, it would take you 100,000 years to get from one side to the other.

We all revolve around a center, a so-called black hole. That takes us about 225 million years. The matter in such a black hole is so compressed there that a piece of black hole the size of a sugar cube would weigh the same as the entire earth. And this black hole keeps us inside this galaxy so we don't fly out; into space. (along with the dark matter)

This story takes place in our galaxy with its billions of stars.

By the way, our galaxy is just a very "ordinary" galaxy. There are those that are many times larger. There are billions of galaxies.

But more later........
